Patent Attorney for our Life Sciences team

We are looking for a qualified or partly qualified European patent attorney with a background in life sciences to join our team in Barcelona.

Candidate profile

The candidate should have a strong scientific background in Biomedicine. A degree in Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Biomedicine or similar is required; a PhD and international experience being positively regarded.

The candidate should be a qualified or partly qualified European patent attorney with at least 4 years of experience as patent attorney/trainee. The Spanish patent attorney qualification would be an asset.

Fluent in Spanish and English is required, the knowledge of Catalan being a plus.

The ideal candidate must have incredible communication skills and the ability to explain, clarify and simplify complex technical information. He/She should also have an excellent legal and scientific knowledge and display a deep understanding of an invention and its technical aspects with the ability to articulate this information in a clear manner.
